We have briefly interrupted our summer sailing for a couple of days in order to go up to Stockholm and welcome the newest member of our family.

My dear husband became a farfar (grandpa) on July 12th! His son, John and his partner Emilie had a darling little baby boy last Saturday. He is called Viggo.



Does this make Lambi a faster (auntie), I wonder?

We came home yesterday, went out and bought some baby gear and will go and have a cuddle later. What a precious little sweetie!



Of course, L-G is wasting no time turning this to his advantage. He thinks his new status entitles him to even greater bouts of laziness than usual. Every time I suggest he moves from the couch, he invariably says "But I want to stay here. I'm a grandpa now!"

We'll have to make sure we iron out that bit of behaviour quickly :)
