For reasons that are too long, depressing and frankly boring to explain, we are selling up and moving from Vadstena.
Luckily we don't need to sell this place to be able to afford the new place (a relief!), but we sign the contract and hand over the money and get the keys on Sunday. And then pack to move and try and sell the apartment in Vadstena. Hopefully we won't have too many months of double fees. Our new home will be in Oxelösund. Added to the stress of getting the boat ready so we can sail her to her new home as soon as the Göta Kanal opens for the season, plus Evy's rapidly failing health, the timing is not ideal. But on the plus side, we will be but a short trip from Stockholm (1 hour), we will be back in a coastal town surrounded by our much loved archipelago and best of all we can leave behind the next door neighbour from hell (after I leave some surströmming in her letter box!) |
